Priceline Haul [4]

Ah, midweek shopping.
This week, I had some free time and decided to pop into Priceline to take advantage of the sale they currently have on!

(All prices listed below are sale prices, except for the Ardell lashes!)

Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1 Wash, Scrub and Mask $10.99
Garnier Clean Sensitive 2 in 1 Gentle Make-Up Remover $7.99

These are both my current favourite face wash and make up remover.

The face wash leaves my skin feeling very clean, refreshed and hydrated, and has a very pleasant, fresh scent. I use it thinned with a little bit of water as a face wash on a daily basis, and occasionally as a scrub and mask. I definitely recommend it for people with oily skin!

The makeup remover does a fantastic job of removing everything, even waterproof eye makeup which I wear a lot of. It doesn't leave that oily residue on your skin, which I love, and is very gentle and light.

Aveeno Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser RRP $13.99
Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturiser $15.99

I've been wanting to try a new moisturiser for quite a while and have heard lots of good things about this, so I decided to give it a go. So far, I'm really liking it! I only use about one pump any one time and it's enough for my entire face and neck. It's very light and quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving a really subtle, pleasant scent. My T zone doesn't become too oily until a few hours after using this, which I don't really mind.

The cleanser was a free gift for spending over $15 on any product in the Aveeno range. So far, I'm not a huge fan of it, simply because I prefer my current face wash so much more. It definitely is gentle... way too gentle. I think I would use it when I break out and my skin is much more sensitive, but for now, I'm sticking with my Garnier.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains in Crush and Romantic $17.95 in total (buy one get one free deal)

HOLY GRAIL LIP PRODUCT, RIGHT HERE!
I adore these and will never pass up an opportunity to grab some more. I was so excited to see that there was a 2 for 1 deal on these so I picked up two more shades. Crush is a plum-y red colour, perfect for autumn but I will make it work all year round! Romantic is a lovely, bright red, which I think will look gorgeous on most skin tones. I definitely recommend the entire range of these stains!

Glam Eyes precision eyelash curler $7.69
Ardell Lashes: 108 $9.99

I saw the precision eye lash curler and decided that I just had to try it! I've found that it does a decent job of curling the pesky outer corner lashes, but you have to be super careful using it or it might pinch your skin! I would recommend this for people with small eyes or short, straight lashes. Just be mindful to curl at the root and middle of the lash so it appears more natural.

My sister has a formal coming up so I picked out these lashes for her. She has very short, straight lashes, so I thought that this would look the most natural and flattering on her eyes. I've heard lots of good things about Ardell lashes so hopefully they're as good as I hope they are!

This weekend, my friend Angela and I visited Priceline and Chemist Warehouse in Myer, Rundle Mall and I made just 1 purchase at each after telling myself that I did not need anymore makeup (oops...).

Priceline: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart $17.95 (buy one get one free deal)
Chemist Warehouse: Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss in 107 $6.47

Yes, another Revlon stain.... I just can't help it! Angela and I both bought this one so we only had to pay about $9 each! We both love it. The colour is a pretty, bright pink, perfect for Spring and Summer!

Chemist Warehouse has been having a 50% off Revlon, Rimmel and Maybelline sale which is finishing soon, so I picked up this dark, berry red lipstick. If anyone is familiar with the British youtuber 'Zoella', this is the red lip stick that she often wears! It is such a gorgeous colour and has fantastic staying power. I'd definitely recommend it!

If you need to stock up on any beauty or skin care products, I highly recommend you do so as soon as possible! The Priceline sale ends on Monday the 23rd of September and the Chemist Warehouse sale will be ending very soon, too.

Thanks for reading, and happy shopping!

Priceline Haul [3]

Hi everyone!

Priceline is currently having a massive sale, which 50% off the entire Maybelline range. I decided to pop in early yesterday morning - the calm before the storm! It was lucky that my friends and I were the only people in the store.

All my purchases. A grand total of $109.90

 Real Techniques Core Collection $44.99

First off, this wasn't on sale but I bought it as a gift for a friend. I have my own set and they're fantastic. I definitely recommend them, especially for beginners. If you're able to shop online, I know iherb has them for a much lower price!

 Maybelline Falsies Waterproof Mascara $9.62
Originally $19.25

Finally the right version of Falsies for me! I mistakenly bought the non-waterproof version, and then the Falsies Everlasting but found that I wasn't happy with either one. The former, being non-waterproof, made my lashes look pretty good but caused them to droop and lose their curl since I have the typical straight Asian lashes! The latter just didn't appeal to me and I liked the formula less than the non-waterproof one. However, this one is perfect! It gave me clump free, long lashes and held the curl really well.

Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner $6.97
Originally $13.96

Maybelline Master Liner $6.25
Originally $13.50
My favourite of all 'drugstore' eye liners! I have oily lids, one of which is slightly monolid-like, so smudgeproof and waterproof liners are a must for me. I decided to stock up, even though both of the ones I'm currently using have quite a bit of product left in them.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in 'Too Cool' $5.97
Originally $11.95

A steal at only $5.97! These are amazing - they give an intense colour pay off and will last from the moment you apply it to the moment you decide to remove it. Fantastic for people who have oily lids like me. I had my eye on 'Barely Branded' as well, but unfortunately the 2 stores I visited were both out of stock! I will be visiting Priceline again next week before the end of the sale, so hopefully they would've restocked everything.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in 'Medium' $9.47
Originally $18.95

Definitely one of my favourite concealers. Perfect for under the eye as well as over blemishes. My shade is light but I bought this for my sister since she is much more tanned than I am.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipcolor in 'Coral Crush' $8.47
Originally $16.95

Absolutely gorgeous colour! It isn't too drying on the lips and has a fairly moderate staying power without a lipliner. I'll definitely be purchasing a few more of these on my next Priceline visit.

Maybelline Baby Lips in 'Energising Orange' $1.97
Originally $3.95

I'm sure everyone knows of the hype surrounding these. This is my 4th Baby Lips and they're great! I usually like to have a lip balm everywhere (seriously - in my bag, wallet, car, bedroom, study desk, bathroom etc :P) and this was such a steal! I'll definitely be purchasing a few more on my next visit.

Neutrogena Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover $8.99
Originally $10.89

I wanted to try out some new eye make up removers since I ran out of my favourite Garnier one, so I picked this up since it was on sale for 20% off. So far, I really like it but I still prefer the Garnier 2-in-1. It works quite well but it just doesn't have the same lightness that the Garnier one does.

 Nivea 3 in 1 Waterproof Make-Up Remover $7.19
Originally $8.99

Another make up remover I picked up to try out. It has the consistency of a thin moisturiser which I don't actually like very much. It takes quite a bit of product to remove waterproof makeup, mascara especially, but it definitely has the moisturising properties. I don't think this is a product I will be repurchasing after I finish it.

If you haven't been into Priceline recently or you need to stock up on a few beauty products, I definitely recommend you visit ASAP! The sale ends on the 26th of August - I know I'll be back in a week's time to pick up some more goodies!

Priceline Haul [2]

Hi everyone,

Today's post will be for all you beauty lovers out there! I'll be sharing with you my haul from the Priceline sale that is currently happening. I visited the store in the Myer Centre in Rundle Mall and picked up quite a few things!

All these items only cost me a total of $55 because Priceline is having a sale. Yay for bargains!

Firstly, the few items that I won't be reviewing in depth.

Nivea Repair & Protection $3.37 (sale price)
This will be my third tube. It's not spectacular but it gets the job done. I like it because it doesn't leave a sticky residue on your lips and keeps them nicely hydrated and soft.

Garnier Clean Sensitive Eye Make-Up Remover $9.99
This is my second bottle. It's cost efficient and works very well. I only use waterproof mascara and this product makes it very easy to remove.

Essence Sharpener $1.75
I needed another eye/lip pencil sharpener and thought I'd give this a go because it's so cheap, and who doesn't love a bargain? :P

Rimmel Nail Polish in Apricot Punch $2.97 (sale price)
The quality of these nail polishes is great and I love all the pretty, vibrant colours! Also, it was so cheap because there was a 50% sale on the entire Rimmel range.

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers $7.97 (sale price)
Nova, Stellar and Celestial

These were only recently released in Australia so I was very excited to try them out! My friend and I were so disappointed because we were looking forward to getting our hands on the vibrant, deep red called Big Bang (we love them! Click here because they're awesome :P) but unfortunately this hasn't been released in Australia. I was also going to buy Apocalyptic but I found that I already have another product in a colour very similar to it. It's a very bright hot pink colour. I think I might eventually end up buying it now that I think about it...

Swatches: Nova, Stellar, Celestial
They're extremely pigmented and very vibrant.

Typical lip gloss applicators. Just ignore the bits of blu-tack which I had used to prop up the applicators since the tops of the lip glosses aren't flat!

Nova

Stellar

Celestial

From top to bottom:
My bare lips for comparison
Nova
Stellar
Celestial

I love the bright Barbie pink colour of Nova and the gorgeous vibrant red of Stellar! Both are such fun colours and would be perfect to wear on a night out or during the day in the warmer weather. I feel as though a bright lip colour can really pull a look together, even if there is very minimalistic eye makeup.
I also really like the colour of Celestial. It's very close to my natural lip colour, so this is probably something I'd wear more often in comparison to the others.

The Apocalips are very pigmented, so only a small amount of product is needed for a bright, bold lip. It doesn't leave too much of a sticky residue which is definitely a bonus for me since I usually prefer lip stains and matte lipsticks. It doesn't dry out my lips, as long as I apply a conditioning lip balm underneath it. I would definitely recommend trying them! There are about 10 (?) really great shades, ranging from nudes to bright bold colours so there's something for everyone. They're currently only $7.97 in Priceline because of the sale so now would be the perfect time to try them out if you're curious!

Models Prefer Essential Brow Kit in Medium to Dark $12.99

I've been needing a brow product for quite some time now since I decided I didn't like the colour of the product which I was using for my brows. This seems like a good kit because it includes everything, basically! The wax is a really nice match for my brows because it isn't too pigmented, which I prefer. I have naturally red/dark brown hair, and this suits me very well. The powder is also great for filling in the sparser areas of my brows. I don't normally use the brushes which come with products because they usually have very stiff bristles, like this mini slanted brush. I like the addition of the tweezers, which will be very handy for touchups.
The packaging is nice and sleek, and quite sturdy. Great for throwing in my handbag for on-the-go touchups! I would recommend this for people looking for a well priced brow product which works well. This also comes in Light to Medium for more fair haired people.

Thank you for reading! I hope my insight has been helpful for anyone curious about these products.
